    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     emadkarim says the weather was perfect and 'people were so excited when the parade started.' He saw children playing with firecrackers and elderly people participating in large groups, playing drums and waving flags from the U.S. and China.

    The NYC lunar new year parade marched throughout Chinatown along Mott st and Canal st.
