This iReport is part of an assignment:
Revolution in Egypt |
New Spirit Born
Egyptians didn't sleep the night of Feb 12th. After a long night of celebrations, people prayed in the early morning and set out to clean the Square. Slowly people gathered and almost everyone had a brush and broom. I took this funny picture of a man leaning on the head of one of the lions on the Qasr El Nil Bridge to scrub its head from all the anti-Mubarak scribbling that was written during the revolution. This marks a spirit that was never there before. We all gather together to clean our country and make it beautiful.
