    Nancy Grace: America's Missing

    Missing Man Samuel Riser

    Nancy,

I am the mother of three children who's father has been missing from his Glasgow West Virginia home since December 8, 2010. My children and I all live in Indiana, and he has another daughter who lives in West Virginia, but we are all searching for answers as to his whereabouts. The detectives tell us that they found blood in his home, but are still calling it a missing person's case. There was no sign of forced entry, and there was no sign of anything being taken from his home. His coat, keys, jewelry, wallet and cell phone were gone, all of which could have been on him. His car was still in his driveway, and according to his landlord had not been moved since December 8, 2010. His children and I did not know he was missing until December 11, 2010. Sam's landlord notified his oldest daughter after he had missed work for three days and a co-worker telephoned the landlord. The oldest daughter then notified one of my sons, who then contacted me. Although I am Sam's ex-wife, we had a very good relationship and stayed in communication regarding the kids. Our oldest daughter who is 17 lived with him and attended the Mountaineer Challenge Academy.

Sam's oldest daughter does an excellent job of keeping in contact with the detectives working his case and keeping us posted on what is taking place regarding the case, however we are all seeking more answers than the detectives are able to find for us. The detective working the case has taken DNA samples from all four children with the intent to put them in NAMUS. I know there is a process that must be followed for these matters, but to date, his information has not been registered in the NAMUS database. We all acknowledge that the end result is more than likely not good, but the kids are all in desperate need of answers, and they need to find out what happened to their dad. I beg of you to please help our children find out what happened. It has been over two months since his disappearance, and every day is a struggle for our kids to carry on life normally. Please help us all find out what happened.

    Thank You,

    Sincerely,

    Robin Deon
