Ranch Roping Clyde Park Montana
My wife took this picture of me at a ranch roping in Clyde Park Montana in July. The ranch roping was a benefit to raise money for a Park County high school scholarship.
Ranch roping is where cowboys get together and compete to rope cattle in the same way that we do one the ranch. You are judged on the different types of loops that you throw to catch the cow. There are several different loops that you can throw to get different points from 10 to 18 points.
