    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     greghkramer, an American working in Manama, Bahrain, captured the scene when hundreds of protesters gathered in Pearl Roundabout last night. 'Everyone seems peaceful at the moment. People want change in political and economic freedoms,' he said. greghkramer had been in Thailand last year during the unrest and says Bahrain’s demonstrations are far less intense and more peaceful.

    Demonstrators in the island nation of Bahrain last night amassed in the Pearl Roundabout, a famous landmark in the Kingdom. The gathering started in the late afternoon and by night hundreds of protesters from all over the country had joined their fellow citizens.
