    Drilling, the best option?

    More from luvnola

    the BEST option???

More drilling??? Can we drill off someone else's coast for a while and give Louisiana a break to recover from some of the environmental hazards of off-shore drilling? I'm referring to more than just wildlife. Our fish, shrimp, oysters, and crabs are a food staple. With the latest oil spill in the Mississippi river in New Orleans, our food supply has become contaminated as well as some drinking water supplies. It's no wonder with all the drilling, oil refineries, air pollution etc, that the cancer rate among men in Louisiana is the HIGHEST in the United States.

Why is it taking so long to get this sunken tanker out of the river? It's been 10 days and counting!!!! The tanker is slowly leaking oil into the river day by day... Does Big Oil even CARE???? NO!!!!!!!!!!

Can we start growing sugar cane? Brazil has used sugar cane to make ethanol for years. Chevrolet as well as other auto makers already make cars that run on ethanol and/or gasoline. You can change from one to the other with the flip of a switch. Brazil is an independent nation because it sought out alternative energy sources in the 70's. They've done the work and Chevrolet makes the cars..... Sounds like a NO-BRAINER to me....

WHY AREN'T WE ALL DRIVING A CHEVY??

WHY AREN'T WE PLANTING SUGAR CANE??

Simple: The oil companies would have to replace the gas pumps with ethanol so we have a place to refuel our vehicles.

Why does everything lead us back to BIG OIL?

NO MORE DRILLING!!!!!!!! Alternatives are already out there. Let's put them to use!!!!!

    Peace Out America......
