Wisconsin protests - signs from Madison

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Terilee attended the protests on Saturday primarily as an observer. 'It was absolutely energizing to be in the crowd. My first impression was the absolute sea of signs-some were coordinated and many were hand-made. Some were forthright and others used humor to get the point across. It was a friendly atmosphere. I saw a few heated debates but there were no arrests throughout the course of the day on Saturday, even with crowds estimated at over 60,000. This may be in part to a very heavy police presence around the Capitol Square - most on foot and a few on horse back. The hope is that as time goes on, people will have a chance to learn more about the ramifications of this bill and that perhaps some of the Republicans will consider concessions on this point.'

A few of the signs from the budget protest in Madison on Saturday.  It was quite a remarkable and inspiring event with over 60,000 protestors representing both sides.  A very spirited debate continues.    (The last one is for all you Packer fans out there!).
