Dictators Need a Exit Strategy, February 23, 2011.

It’s no secret, that if you trap a rat or dog in a corner, it will bite you. You have to give them a exit. Hitler had to fight with the last man, because he knew he would be tried for war crimes. This caused thousands of Germans their lives, because no one gave Hitler an exit strategy or exit plan. The Bible says to love your enemies. The reason why God says do not kill, is because God’s Spirit lives inside every man. There is no such thing as evil, all there is, is ignorance. All people are good.

Even Qaddafi thinks he is serving God and vows to be a martyr for God. America did not like the leader of Japan, because the Japanese people thought of their leader as a God. The Japanese people were not wrong. God’s spirit lives inside their leader, just as God’s spirit, lives inside the people. You treat everyone you meet on the street with respect, because it very well may be that you run into God on the street. In fact God can speak through any man, at any time. You have to open your mind to discover that sometimes when God speaks, he is speaking through Qaddafi and sometimes he is speaking through the people.

When there is a disagreement, we have to discern who is speaking for God and who isn’t. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits. Do they have love for their enemies? Are they able to forgive their enemies? Do they have faith in all possibilities?

Qaddafi has made a big mistake. He has killed his own people. Qaddafi should be thanking God, that the two jet fighters, that defected because he ordered them to bomb the people, did not bomb his palace. The two ships he ordered to attack the people could have just as easy bombed his palace, rather than defect to another country. In fact the next jet fighter or battleship, could do just that.

If Qaddafi had faith in God, faith and all possibilities, love of his enemies, forgiveness of those he believes did him wrong, he would show it. If the people had faith in all possibilities, love their enemies and were able to forgive Qaddafi for attacking the people, out over fear of being tried for war crimes and they promised not to charge him, or his army with war crimes, he would step down. The Japanese people committed suicide, because they believe the Americans would kill them. But we were only trying to set them free.  The people are slaves, but so is Qaddafi and his army. The goal of a righteous revolution should be to set all men free.

None of us are serving God. If we where we would see God’s miracles every day. The murderer kills, but God does not bring the murdered victim back to life. This is because the murderer has to learn, killing is wrong. But the friends and family of the murder victim, also have to learn something. They have to learn forgiveness. Qaddafi could ask God to bring the people he killed back to life. But God will not bring the people Qaddafi killed back to life, if the people have not forgiven him, for killing them in the 1st place.
