Gas prices in Iceland - three gas stations

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ander shared images of gas prices in Iceland. He estimates gas costs at around $2 per liter, which places a gallon of gas at about double those in the U.S. ander says people are angry at the government for high taxes on gas, as well as at gas companies for high prices.
    - nsaidi, CNN iReport producer

Here you can see the three main gas stations in Iceland , and their gas price.
The price is similar between the stations, and at around 2 dollars per liter.
there are 3.7 liters to the us gallon.
This is very high gas price in Iceland ,and only about three years ago, truck drivers in Iceland where protesting gas prices then , that where much lower than the price today .

In april 2008,when the truck drivers protested ,the price of one liter of Diesel was 157.9 kronas , but today the price is 230.9 kronas.

    230.9 is 2 us dollars
