    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     markpel estimates that there were about 300 people at the protest, sparked by the radiation fears in Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

    Spontanous Anti Nuclear Demonstration in Berlin, Germany, in front of German Chancellery (the executive office of the Chancellor).

     

    Chancellor of Germany (the head of German federal government) Angela Merkel has been very important supporter of nuclear power in Germany.

     

    Protestors say: "What is happening in Fukushima nuclear power station in Japan could always happen in Germany, too."
