This iReport is part of an assignment:
Not-so-perfect weddings |
You get what you pay for!
I was the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding. She was trying to save money, so she hired "Limo's for Less" to drive us to the church and the reception. They showed up and the limo died in her apartment complex's parking lot. They assured us they would fix it, but her mother had to drive us to the church in her car - which was covered with pet hair - even tho there were towels down all over the place. We made it to the church and afterwards the limo showed up to take us to the reception. We made one stop at a liquor store, and then headed to the reception. While we were driving up a rather large hill, the limo decided to die again. We sat on the side of the road for what seemed like an eternity until another limo came and took us the rest of the way to the reception. We were obviously much later than anticipated and her father (who was semi-drunk) started YELLING at her when we walked in. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" She just started to cry. Not a good way to start your reception!!!
