Sound-off |
Opinion Libya and Airstrikes
The United States and her allies should either commit themselves to overthrowing the Qadaffi regime or just leave the situation alone. But these limited airstrikes will do little to improve the situation. In fact, it will probably either pro-long the blood shed, or further the instability in the country.
The United States and her allies should also be wary of working with these rebel forces. We shouldn't assume that Qadaffi's enemies will support a democratic government-in fact these rebels could be no better than Qadaffi himself.
