John Edwards admits to extramarital affair |
I understand
I went through a similar process with my wife's breast cancer. Your behavior becomes warped. You are in a fog, and dying to get out of it; a pretty face who says "you're the greatest" is on "the other side" and gives you a brief moment of relief. I never chose that option, but I can understand why he did it, and why he still loves his wife. It is all about allowing ourselves to be "human" and move-on, as his own wife commented in a public statement.
