Tonight was elimination night on American Idol.  The bottom three were Thia Megia, Stefano Langone and Casey Abrams.  I was sure the one leaving would be Thia even though last nights performance was great.  I was shocked that Casey and Stefano were in the hot seat, although last nights performance by Casey was the worst I had seen he's always been excellent up to that point.

Now comes the shocker for me, Casey was the one eliminated!  But wait, during his final goodbye song he wast stopped in the middle of it by the judges.  The judges were all shocked that America gave him the least votes.  They had one "save" to give out for the entire season and they gave it to Casey.

Casey looked like he was going to have a heart attack right there on stage, he couldn't believe he was saved.  He deserved to be in my opinion.  My faith in the judges has been restored.
