John Edwards admits to extramarital affair

    More from OurReality

    You should care!

No one is pefect; we are human and we have free will, but that doesn't mean there isn't right and wrong. And that doesn't mean we should not teach our children right and wrong either.

There is also an "error in judgment" and then there is an "ERROR IN

JUDGMENT". My wife and I got caught up in the Beanie Baby craze of the 1990's and we have boxes of them sitting in the basement worth

1/10th of what we paid. I should eat better and exercise more, but

I don't. Those are my "errors in judgment". You will never see me have an affair, drive drunk or do some of the other rediculous things our celebrities and politicians do.

As a Christian, I will forgive and pray for Edwards, but that does not mean what he did was right and there aren't any consequences. And, anyway, he should look for God's and his wife's forgoveness more than mine.

As a Republican,  I could care less that he is democrat. You guys try to make this political to shift blame and change the subject, but to be honest, I would be even more mad if he was a Republican since we are supposed to be the party of values and morals. He royally screwed up and should not be in a public position where he becomes a role model for others to learn from and copy.

We're adults, we should know better and take some

self-responsibility. Running a red light and getting in an accident

or even killing someone is a serious "ERROR IN JUDGMENT". Seeing an

opportunity to rob a store or steal something, and doing it, is a serious

"ERROR IN JUDGMENT". HAVING AN AFFAIR IS A SERIOUS "ERROR IN JUDGMENT"!!!

A politician and our so called celebrities SHOULD be held to a

higher standard anyway. They choose to constantly be in the spot

light and for some unknown reason we think they are good role

models. Especially, since these days, most parents rely on teachers

and roles models to mold their kids and teach them values (again

    for some unknown reason).

When you die, you will be remembered for how you raised your kids,

not how you voted. No politician or celebrity can do more for you

or your family than you can do yourself. When parents let TV and

teachers raise their kids, because they have better things to do,

they better make sure they are good people.

Most of you are focussing on the wrong issue... You should care!!!
