    2:46 #Quakebook

#Quakebook is a crowd sourced book that started with a single call for help on Twitter seeking contributors to create a book to help raise funds for Red Cross Japan to help the victims of the Earthquake that struck Japan at 2:46 on March 11th.

This project was led by @OurManInAbiko on Twitter and within just two weeks of the earthquake he has amassed 30,000 words.  It is a compilation of pictures and stories of those effected by the earthquake.  It helps them to share their stories but all proceeds will help support the efforts of Red Cross Japan who have been on the ground helping those effected since day one.

The response for #Quakebook has been nothing short of sensational.   Word of this effort has spread quickly and was picked up and tweeted by Twitter and Yoko Ono.   News agencies around the world are beginning to pick up the story of this movement.    More information can be found at http://quakebook.blogspot.com/.
