Madrona Marsh Challenge Unites with Friendship Sports Association!
Friendship Sports Association charity announces that Stan Cottrell, one of the all-time-great names of ultra distance runners, will run 34 miles per day, for 2 consecutive days per week until he runs through all the world’s 257 countries, territories and colonies. He will spend one week in each country with festivities, seminars, sports events, cultural events, children’s events and work with orphans.
Invitation to the Madrona Marsh Challenge (MMC) United with Friendship Sports Association and its The Great Global Friendship Run, raising $1 Billion for the World's Orphas over the next 6 years.
Weekly every Saturday 9 a.m. (Challenge starts at 9:15 a.m.) and other times by arrangement.

A Challenge to keep up with 73-1/2-year-old Burt Danet as he Power Walks around the Madrona Marsh (1.25 miles) in 20 minutes or less! This is a man who could not breathe suffering from many medical diagnoses in 2003.

HISTORY: The Madrona Marsh Challenge started with a power walk around the Marsh that took 20 minutes. Later, what a surprise when the time shortened by 6 minutes!
To prepare for World Water Day on 03/22/2011, a tour was done on 03/21/2011, offering an opportunity to record this video, "Wind, Water, Marsh and 'Waters of March'!"
The waters from all the rains were spectacular, the ducks were out in force, the winds were strong, making for quite a scene, all accompanied by "Waters of March" by Antonio Carlos Jobim and performed by Jazz Great, Rick DellaRatta, Founder, Jazz For Peace.
