    Hailstorm in Palm Bay, Florida


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ACMitchell said, 'Once I began taping the hail size grew quickly as the winds whipped up at over 70 mph blowing full garbage cans over 25-50 yards down the neighboring streets. The pounding heard on the video is the sound of the hail hitting the tin roof of the patio roof.'

    Today in Palm Bay, Florida a storm cell moved through at approximately 4:10pm EDT carrying large hen-egg sized hail in addition to 0.20" of rain within approximately 5 minutes.  Strong winds accompanied the storm carrying full garbage cans down the street approximately 25-50 yards.
