Kea in Disguise, New Zealand
On the way to the Milford Sound, we were introduced to the infamous Kea -- a parrot notorious for its pestering curiosity. I saw one bird causing a ruckus, pecking away at a parked car. Instead of following other onlookers, I was intrigued by colorful moss on the trees in the distance. I trudged through a small snow bank and found a Kea camouflaged in the branches.
