I was truly saddened when I heard the devastating news about Mr. Bernie Mac's death. He was definitely a TRUE KING OF COMEDY. I didn't personally know him but through his comedic performances he made one feel as though they did. The world has truly lost one of the greatest of all time. He loved what he did, as he once stated, and through his work it was apparent that it was true. No matter what, he gave us his all. As I write this now I feel as though tears are soon to fall... but instead I'll just think of a Bernie Mac joke... *imitates* "Can I Get Some Milk and Cooooookie's?" *smiles* and I realize that he would want us to laugh, smile, and continue with the jokes. Remember what he stood for and continue to press on.

We're going to miss you Mr. Bernie but God missed you more.

Whenever I see the sun shining just a little bit brighter, I'll think of you. I'll smile to myself and quietly say, "That must be Mr. Bernie still telling those jokes and making them laugh up in Heaven."
