    Single most thing that unites India is Cricket ... and ICC world cup 2011 united us again ...

    The entire Indian nation broke into a frenzy as the Indian cricket team won the ICC World Cup 2011. They were waiting for this since 1983. We have grown up coveting that CUP since we were born. Everyone was on the streets at midnight ... it was simply electifying. Mumbai's Marine drive was choked. So was every street in every city in India. I think the single most thing that unites this huge diverse country is this game ... I mean the camaraderie of people was something worth watching. Everybody was shaking hands with everybody and cheering everybody ... never seen so many people celebrate something together in this manner. Simply Ecstatic !!! Even our Prime Minister who hardly displays emotions in Public... was seen enjoying!Everyone has woken up today with a smile and the smile does not seem to fade away ... truely cricket is the only religion in India now ...
