    Train Dodging?

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MarieSager shot this video and images in March of an open-air market in Maeklong, Thailand. Merchants set up shop alongside train tracks, and quickly fold up their stands as the train passes. "I didn't realize the train was going to be that close, and it seemed like none of the other photographers did either. The most amazing part of the whole thing was how as soon as the train came through, they all unfolded their tents and it was immediately back to business for the market."

    I don't know if you would consider "train dodging" a sport, but in Maeklong, Thailand, it happens everyday.  The vendors set up their markets on the tracks and quickly move everything out of the way before the train goes thru.  Then after the train goes by they move everything back and it's business as usual.

     

    Unfortunately, you get one chance at filming!   So anxious to go back and try again.
