Vermont unions rallied their membership Wednesday evening to protest RNC chair Rence Preibus giving the keynote speech at the annual Vermont GOP Spring Dinner fund-raiser.

As GOP supporters paid $100 a plate to meet Preibus and hear him speak about his vision for the Republican Party, protesters marched through the streets of Bulington Vermont and rallied outside the Hilton located on the Burlington Waterfront where the posh affair was taking place.

Marchers came from every cornner of Vermont and included professors from the University of Vermont, Union members, union organizers, workers and students.

Preibus is widely regarded as the mastermind behind the efforts of Wisconsin Govonor Scott Walker's election and his well publicised campagin against collective bargining rights for public workers.
