    Nigerians queue to elect a new president

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Fuby's friend, Fred Pere Yinkore, took this photo of a voting line in Nigeria. Fuby is Nigerian but currently lives in Alberta, Canada. 'It's a new chapter in Nigeria's history to see people queue up to vote and their votes counted,' Fuby said. '[I] am proud to be a Nigerian and [I] feel bad [that] am not able to vote.'

    The world watches on as Nigerians go to the poll today to elect a new President.

    Reports and photo evidence confirms election has commenced peacefully across the country.
