This is what the family and community has noticed--> WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!! Me & my family are from Newark, NJ & are currently in Moncks Corner, SC because my nephew Bobby Gasden was shot & killed on Wed morning & here are the details. The local media outlets have been lied to by the police & shooter. I am his uncle & I am not speculating but have credible witnesses including Councilman Ed Robinson who was able to verify these statements as true & accurate. The police told the family & local news outlets that my nephew was shot in chest & there was no investigation or criminal charges that will be pursued but I found out from a young man who was in the house at the time that he saw my nephew chased down & shot in the Back of his Head! The police took no photos of the crime scene, refuse to do an autopsy & vehemently denied the family to see & id the body since we arrived on Thurs unless we agree to waive the right to an autopsy & have the funeral company pick up the body first. The funeral director was on the phone when the chief coroner refuse to do an autopsy on a gunshot victim which is Required in the State of SC. The 2 eye witnesses were remanded without bail & access to council or family contact currently on a bogus Burglary charge, even when one of the young whom they knew nothing about being there, came forward to them to tell all who were involved which included the Shooter's Own Son, which till this moment has not been charged with anything! We don’t know if this cover-up is racially or politically motivated to protect anyone & don’t care! However, We want & need answers & to have a thorough investigation done! Me & my family including my sister, Bobby's mom are here & not leaving & would like to id my nephew, have an autopsy so we can funeralize him in NJ. The city officials here are no longer taking our calls & have let us know we better not show up there. Therefore the family which includes the mother of Bobby Gadsden, Ms. Paulette Williams, formally requests that a thorough investigation be conducted immediately by the National Action Network as well as the NAACP. My nephew was a black male that just turned 21 in Feb, he was close friends with the shooter's son & was seen in the community often with him and the police and media are only saying that my nephew knew of the shooter's son. Again, we have proof & witnesses in which we ask you to verify & confirm yourself!!! Please google search Moncks Corner,Sc news for all reports & see for yourself how the white residents are viewing this man as a hero for Executing this young man by shooting him in the back of the head as he tried to run! Ask yourself how is he a threat to this man or anyone if he is running? Why when he left his house initally which put him out of range from any possible danger or injury, did he not call the police but instead decided to return with a lethal weapon? But dont ask yourself we need an independant investigator from the justice dept to ask these questions & demand answers. But as a people & civil society, every American citizen should be outraged that these details are being with-held & a mother is not allowed to see her oldest son's body for his funeral unless she agrees not to pursue justiice!
