A reader asked this question from our local paper
Reader's comment that was made into a story on nola.com
"Glad they got this redistricting circus finished but still begs the question, why in the world is north louisiana, the only part of the state that has continually been losing population for the last two decades, still keeping two congressional districts? It makes absolutely no sense at all. There is no rationale behind it. Putting Tangipahoa parish and Ouachita parish in the same district is pretty ridiculous."
