Watching the royal wedding |
Wills n Kate True Love
- nancyt3, CNN iReport producer
My name is Harriet Seed.
I'm a print-maker and illustrator from Brighton, England.
I have a small collection of Royal Wedding commemorative ware mugs, plates and tea cups which have been passed down the generations of my family. I have always loved these very British momentos, and decided to create my own piece of artwork to commemorate this once-in-a-generation event.
I often refer to traditional tattooing iconography in my work, and noticed a surprising amount of similarities to Royal commemorative ware - swags, flags, crowns, folliage, roses, serious portraits and lettering. So I used a combination of the two to produce 'Wills n Kate True Love'
