    I, too, have not forgotten

Like millions of people I remember exactly where I was on 9/11. I was a week away from giving birth, on bedrest for a high risk pregnancy, and my husband was deployed with his submarine (ironically enough, they were attached to the USS Carl Vinson). In fact, I was *this* close to an emergency c-section, knowing that due to Bin Laden my husband would definitely not be getting any kind of leave to come see his new daughter. The Red Cross managed to notify him of her birth (on 9/18) and 3 weeks later he called to talk for about 20 minutes. We didn't see/hear from him again until she was 4 months old.

Bin Laden was the bogeyman that shadowed her first decade. I'm glad he's dead.
