    Ider Tornado Damage

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     'I have been overwhelmed with the extent of the damage. Everywhere you turn there is destruction,' said kjfloyd. Her rural town of Ider, Alabama was hit hard by recent storms. 'Our community has come together to help each other.' kjfloyd says her home was spared from damage, but they have had sporadic power outages. 'One thing I don't think people realize is that in our area the power went out early Wednesday morning and much of North Alabama was without power all day. There's no way to explain the terror of knowing these storms were coming and not having access to news media,' said kjfloyd.
