    Lets see... This is my work schedule starting from my last day off:

     

    Sunday - off

     

    Monday - 6AM until 4PM - 10 hours

     

     

    Tuesday - 6AM until 3PM Wednesday - 33 hours (2 hours of broken sleep)

     

     

    Thursday - 6AM to 4PM - 10hours

     

     

    Friday -7AM to 6PM - 11 hours

     

     

    Saturday - 6AM to 2PM on Sunday - 32 hours (no sleep)

     

     

    Monday - 6AM to 7PM - 13 hours

     

     

    Tuesday - 7AM - 5PM - 10 hours

     

     

    Wednesday - 6AM - 2PM on Thursday - 32 hours (no sleep)

     

     

    Friday - 6AM - 4PM - 10 hours

     

     

    Saturday - 7AM - 4PM - 9 hours

     

     

    Sunady - off

     

     

     

     

    Yes, thats right, thirteen days straight, average of 10 hours a day, with 32-34 hour shifts every 4th day with usually no sleep.

     

     

    And how much do I get paid? about $10/hour

     

     

    And what do I do? I am a doctor. A 1st year resident. And yes I get to keep this schedule up for 5 years. And yes, I did have 8 years of college first.

     

     

     

     

    Awesome, just totally awesome.
