    5th Generation Arizonan

My family has lived in Arizona over 120 years.  I am a mix of Spanish and Mexican ancestry.  I identify with being Chicana but I am also a proud American.  I love my great State of Arizona but I have been fortunate to have traveled the world.  The town I grew up in Is a small copper-mining town called Globe, Arizona.  It is a beautiful place where time seems to stand still.  My great loves are my husband Fred and my 3 children.  I attended Arizona State University, have worked at the same company for 18 years and I am hopeful for all the opportunities my children have to become yet another successful generation of Native Arizonans.
