    NYC Dance Parade

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     The New York Dance Parade was held on May 21, 2011. emadkarim said that according to the parade organizers, there were about 10,000 dancers representing 200 different dance groups participating in the parade.

    Thousands of dancers and audience covered NYC streets showcasing 73 forms of dance in a free outdoor dance parade and festival. The parade started on 21st street and culminated in Tompkins Square. Hula, belly dancing, swing, salsa, tango and so mnay dances.
