    Tornado Damage - Joplin Missouri 5/22/2011

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     missyjenjen 'made a last minute decision to get my dog and myself in my car and drive out of town when the storm/tornado hit. I just barely made it out of town as the tornado was plowing through.' She later took these photos in the St. Johns Regional Medical Center parking lot and on Maiden Lane and 26th Street.

    These pictures show some of the devastation in Joplin, Missouri. The gurney picture was right across the street from St. Johns Regional Medical Center looking towards the west at the path of destruction in the background. There is a picture of the main entrance of St. Johns Regional Medical Center. The picture of the hands and cross, the only thing that appeared to be untouched at the hospital. The picture with the fire in the background is looking towards the east of Joplin. The last picture is looking towards the south west at the western part of 26th Street.
