Memphis In World Championship BBQ
Despite a last minute exit from its usual home on the banks of the flooded Mississippi, the 2011 Memphis In May World Championship BBQ contest went off flawlessly. Tens of thousands of outdoor cooking fans took in the sites and smells and hundreds of teams competed for the contest's top prize. In the end it was Chris Lilly of Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q whose pork shoulder won over the judges and tied the team for most MIM championships at three.
