    Are you overworked?

    Blackberry and raspberries

I'm a telecommuter for a company that does business worldwide. The clock knows no boundaries.  A typical day begins at 6:30 am and ends at 6:30 or 7PM.  When I visit the office, I leave my house at 5am to get there at 8:00, and watch my co-workers straggle in till around 10am.  At 5:00 almost everyone goes home, and I feel like an idiot for doing what I do!!  I leave the office and get home 8-9PM (depending on traffic), and start at rooster time the next day, forgetting that I was at the office the day before, telling myself I'm crazy.

When there aren't other people around, it's so easy to hyper-focus on the task at hand; to be on conference calls all day and be glued to the computer, dealing with emails, instant messages, and projects.

My friend  accompanied us on vacation and actually brought a PC and took conference calls. It really spoiled my attempted mental 'down time,' and it will never happen again!  The pics were taken a few weeks ago, in the morning while staying at a B&B - where I picked  raspberries for breakfast, but work went on as usual for some......
