    More from jimginsd

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     'They were so darn cute,' says photographer jimginsd, who was covering a press conference at Ocean Beach's Dog Beach when he spotted the puppies. Their owners brought them to the beach in a big basket 'hoping to find some good homes for the little guys.'

He marveled that there were five news crews onsite 'and nobody got footage of these little guys ... What were those high paid video photographers thinking?'

This Mama had 11 puppies and was proud of them. The owners took the puppies out on day three to get some fresh air at the Ocean Beach Dog Park.....

UPDATE :::Little did I know these photos were going to stir up so much hate and bitterness!!I I did not ask the owners the back story on these puppies....For all I know they found the dog or rescued it from a shelter...I do know this:::::::The local CBS affiliate Channel 8 here in San Diego contacted me after they heard about this ireport and asked me to please do what I could to find the dog owner they desperately want to help the owner find good homes for the puppies and make sure they are spayed or neutered...SO I hope this will calm things down about these cute puppies !!!

.The puppies were not touched by anyone or any dogs...the owners were generating a list of prospective new owners for placement at a much later date.....They were only out in the public for 15-20 minutes....
