Cultural census: Eat dinner |
Best part about WV (other than the mountains), THE FOOD!
Oh so I didn't make that breakfast biscuit. But let me tell you this, Tudor's Biscuit World is a MUST if you ever drive through WV. If you see a Tudor's sign along the interstate, take that exit and get you some.
But if I were cooking, some of the best dishes in my family's recipe book are (1) Sweet and Spicy Chilli, (2) Sweet Potato Casserole, and (3) Green bean Casserole (my favorite!). All of them have special ingredients, which add to the southern meal. One thing I hate about college in the Northeast, no southern homecooked meals. And even if the restaurant advertises it, they don't even come close.
