    On Thursday, June 2nd, the USDA released a replacement for the 20 year old “Food Pyramid”.  Tom Vilsak, Chairman of the USDA said the changes came about in order to bring people’s attention to the need to eat tastier snacks and to better reflect the modern American diet. “We’ve been trying to tell them what to eat for over 20 years and it just hasn’t worked.
