    Denver Gearing up for DNC

The frenzy is beginning to peak;  Oprah rents home in Wash Park area for $50K,

Elway’s downtown is putting Obama burgers on their menu (we thought he was

Republican, but hey, a buck is a buck),

protesters angry because they are being pushed into a corner of the

parking lot at the Pepsi Center and want more visibility to the throng of

policy makers,  and Craig’s list offering

fully stocked refrigerated homes for a price during the DNC.

The DNC circus will disrupt the lives of many of us

during its trip to Denver.  The traffic,

the crowded restaurants, and the week of smiling, happy people holding hands, we

will accept it graciously and smile right along.  After all, we live by the Rocky Mountain High

creed!  Denver is opening our arms wide

for our guests and leaders of the country.

All we ask is that you don’t leave us wondering why we did.  Don’t be short tempered with the wait staff,

don’t yell at the front desk, and don’t curse the inability to find a cab – you’re

    a guest, not royalty.

Oh – and if you rented a house that promised “minutes

from the light rail” – you may want to check the light rail pix I

uploaded.  There are certain stops that

it is taking off for the week.  I am

    guessing heightened security measures!
