    Global revolution: Russian script

Slightly more than 30 strangers to each other people are sitting directly on the central square of St. Petersburg. They discuss how often should they meet here now. The first hours of the national forum devoted to the organization rather than a discussion of public issues. Nevertheless the global revolution which originated in Spain launched in Russia.

    - We decided to make sure that people in Russia heard about the movement of «Real democracy now». Almost all media except the Internet are silent about it. - says Tatyana Vasilieva, the curator of the Russian Forum «Direct participation». Therefore, we have thoroughly studied the experiences of other countries and is now trying to embody the key moments in their homeland».

Initiators of the Russian movement are located in Spain. And according to both Russian organizers and representatives of a pioneer country there is no specific goal of this movement yet.

    - Just at some point, people woke up and saw a nightmare in which they live. So they decided to come together for to build a completely different world. - says Juan Carlos Pinov, a Spaniard, who lives long enough in Russia. - We aren’t interested in neither the state nor the party. We don’t believe in them. We believe that they will never be on our side. But we don’t oppose them. We want to create something new, something different. But what - is not clear yet. But the movement was born literally just that. Therefore, there are not any concrete results, only discussions. In my opinion this non-violent struggle for their rights will be long. And it will affect not only Europe but also all over the world.

At first glance, it seems that they are a group of tourists who are waiting for their turn to tour the Winter Palace. But in fact they are discussing public issues. And who knows what it will turn?
