Recovery in Japan: After the earthquake |
6/11 – Tokyo Fears for its Children
On the 3 month anniversary of the Japan Earthquake and nuclear disaster, thousands take to the streets of central Tokyo to express their fears of Nuclear Power. Foremost among those fears are the concerns for their children who are most susceptible to the fall out that had spread out from Fukushima across the country. Most scientists claim that the radiation levels are so low that there will be no effects on Tokyo’s population. Yet when it comes to Tokyo’s children, since day one, when many residents fled away to the west of the country, and many foreigners fled the country altogether, those fears are most noticeably voiced in the concern of parents!
