    Old McDonald's Farm

When I was a 16, I worked a summer at Old McDonald's Farm in Norwalk, CT. At night they let a lot of the animals roam free in the park, so from 8-10am we would shovel all the different types of poop from the sidewalks. Llamas, pigs, goats, cows, etc. At 10am the park opened and it was filled with screaming kids.  All the rides needed tickets, except one! The merry-go-round, which was free.  So, of course the kids wanted to ride again and again and again...  The same song played non-stop for 8 hours. I had to count 17 revolutions of the merry go round for the ride to be complete. Exactly 17. No more, no less.  I'm not sure why because once we came to a stop, the kids just stayed on and shouted "Let's go again!"  Who was I to argue?  To this day I have never been on another merry go round and I can name 17 different types of animal poop.  17, no more, no less.
