Golden Grove Correctional Facility, St Croix USVI

June 9th, 2011, US DOJ files motion to take control of Virgin Islands correction facility. June 15th, 16th, 2011, Virgin Islands inmates are transferred off- island to Florida & Virginia facilities. No specifics have been offered to family members of inmates. The total number of prisoners transferred has not yet been confirmed but it is believed to be near 200. No reason for the transfer has been revealed. Taking into consideration the level of political & judicial unrest in our community we are left to consider two viable possibilities for the transfer of the inmates. Either space has been made for We the People, or room has been made for the corrupt "regime" we are living under. The latter of the two options seems to make more sense as We the People are merely exercising our right to free speech. Stayed tuned. I will report as the story develops so long as one of the vacant cells is not reserved for me.

Our community is on the verge of a financial & social meltdown. During the first six months of our Governors reelection we have endured financial terrorism and unbelievable corruption disclosure. I shall attempt to recall all that has occurred, but there is an overwhelming list. Most recent first:  *governor (deJongh) is put on notice of Federal Receivership of prison * governor attempts to use local National Guard for personal security in order to attend high school graduations. *electric rate to increase to over .50 per kwh * governor announces 600 government workers will be dismissed, not laid off. *governor meets with senators to discuss propositions to avoid dismissals, but reneges on deal because senators would not sign a letter of intent. *governor contracts to use ARRA FUNDS to refurbish lighting in schools  & gov't buildings, contracting with a stateside company knowing that he is about to dismiss 600 workers. *governor uses ARRA FUNDS to set up a company to install broadband in the territory. The governor sets up bylaws that will permit him and his friends full nondiscriminatory use of all proceeds from the broadband he plans to sell to the community. The bylaws even states that he, the directors, or any of their friends may borrow from the proceeds to buy personal real estate. This use of ARRA FUNDS maxed out our bank accounts, and there is no more borrowing capacity.  We have a governor who by all standards appears to be out of touch, out of control, and has drained our economy for his personal gain. These actions by this governor are leaving the people nowhere to go. Things are going to get messy. We the People have asked for consideration yet we have received nothing. We will be forced to take it to the streets in order to be heard.  The US Virgin Islands is not what you think it is. We are oppressed. We are Americans being suppressed in the same manner Egypt is.
