I literally grew up with the Harry Potter books. I was in third grade when I read my first Harry Potter book. I was in fourth grade when the first movie came out. Growing up I was able to make friends because of our mutual love of the Harry Potter verse. Now I just finished my first year of college, and there will be no books or movies. But still the Harry Potter world will go on through the huge fan base it has. My transition to college was made easier by the groups I got involved in. One of which was my college's Quidditch team. There I found people with common interests who didn't mind feeling silly at times. Its ridiculous and challenging all at the same time.
