    Worst Day of Monument Fires

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Iskander4602 captured these images of the wildfire on Sunday, June 20, between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Iskander4602 is in the U.S. Army and has been assisting with volunteering in the area.

    Sunday was so far the worst day of the Monument Fires, with flames reaching structures and forcing evacuation of more residents. High winds kept air crews out of the area for most of the day, and with no means to get to the fire on the mountain, most fire crews were dedicated to preventing the spread of the fire into the residential areas.
