America Puts Military Spending on Table of Debt Reduction
AmericaPuts Military Spending on Table of Debt Reduction
It seems that President Obama and the United States Congress are getting real. With Social Security, Medicare, government jobs, all types of social programs and a high unemployment rate, it would seem that Americas priority should be America.
There are talks of returning troops from Afghanistan, to cut cost in a war they know cannot be won, but only treaties can result from supervised withdrawals. WE did not lose the warand can still make a difference. A projected 1,300 civilians will stay there for about 5 years to help train Afghanistan people on how to develop the infrastructure. This could be costly, but it will allow America to maintain some presence in the use of black ops.
In essence America is getting realistic in our military tactics to address the economic environment. We have learned over the years how to send in gorillas to fight these two bid terrorist clandestine outfits. The billions spent to kill Bin Laden was total bullshit and highway robbery of the American people.
The afghan war cost $300M per day. We need jobs! The Libyan war cost $550M so far. We need jobs! The war in Iraq cost $3 Trillion. We need jobs!
