    Missouri River Flooding

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Calisalvi39 shot these stunning photos on June 20 and 21 of the flood conditions along the Missouri River in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. For weeks, the Army Corps of Engineers has been steadily opening the gates of the Gavins Point dam to prevent flooding in upriver population centers. 'I heard about what was happening along the Missouri from friends and family all over the Midwest, yet we don't hear much about it on the West Coast,' she said. 'So, I took a few weeks off to travel along the Missouri River myself and document what is happening, in hopes to increase some exposure on it.'
