    Follow Us to Paradise!

With all the latest attention to eco-tourism and Costa Rica being in the news with the new reality show "Love Bites" coming out, have any of you been interested in finding out what Costa Rica really is all about? Well we have, and we decided to take our latest vacation to this beautiful country. Follow us as we embark on our adventure through this country. This first posting contains our first day as we embarked on our trip from Boston to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. It took us all day to travel to this spot. The picture of the two of us is the first picture on the first connecting airplane ride that was of course delayed and had an incident on it of someone fainting but then he ended up being ok. When we eventually got to San Juan Airport in Costa Rica we were greeted by a very friendly driver from Xplore Costa Rica private transfer company. After being driven through pretty much all of the country of Costa Rica to get to remote town of Tamarindo last night by Paul, we recommend to everyone that they experience being driven by a private transfer. This driver knew all the spots, the best places to stop for food and bathroom breaks, the culture, and the best places to shop, and even when he finally got us to our hotel he went out of his way to drive through the whole town telling us which places were the best and which to avoid and then at the end offered his surfboard to borrow while we were here. You can't say enough about how friendly the people of Costa Rica are, they go out of their way to say hello. Costa Rica is well known for it's eco-tourism and we are signed up for a lot of tours, zip-lining and hot springs among others. This was just our first night here, stay tuned for more pictures and video to come. Volcano tour is up next, which is said to be active.

          Until then, enjoy and adios!

By the way, the caption for the iguana photo should read something like:

"Proposals from paradise with a friend"

This is just another one of the locals we met along the way and he actually helped us upload this ireport.
