    Amarillo Sox Mascot Costume causes gasps - laughter.

    The semi-pro baseball team - the Amarillo Sox located in Amarillo, Texas unveiled their new team mascot amid laughs and gasps. What was supposed to be a costume designed to look like a "SOX" ended up looking more like - well - something else.

     

    Amarillo Sox general manager Mark Lee said “It was not the way I wanted it,” Lee said. “I’m very disappointed in the lady who did it, and I’ve told her so. She is going to fix it to the changes we want. I want to say on the record, if we offended anybody, I apologize.”

     

    Photos taken of the tumescent mascot have gone viral.
