    Blair, Nebraska Highway Closure

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Calisalvi39 says 'I drove down Hwy 30 last night to see how severe it was. Side roads are submerged, and in some cases, it wasn't visible until you pulled off the road and realized you were about to drive in water. Much of the agriculture is barely visible - for miles the farmland resembled giant lakes hugging the highway shoulders. Of the areas I've visited along the Missouri thus far, this is some of the worst flooding I've seen yet.'
    - Cortnee H, CNN iReport producer

These images were taken on Highway 30 running through Blair, Nebraska and over the Iowa border on June 28, 2011.  As the flood waters have submerged many of the side roads and agriculture, and are now approaching the highway shoulder, it was announced today that Highway 30 will be temporarily closing on June 29, in order to build a flood barrier.
